ATLANTA WithSundays loss to the Seattle Seahawksinside Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the Atlanta Falcons were officially eliminated from the 2025 NFL Playoffs.
The Falcons are now 4-9.
This marked the eighth consecutive season in which the Falcons did not make the postseason. Their last appearance was in 2017; they defeated the Los Angeles Rams in the wild-card round and lost to the Philadelphia Eagles in the divisional round.
The best possible record the Falcons can now attain in 2025 is 8-9.
The Falcons' remaining schedule features the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday night, the Arizona Cardinals on Dec. 21, the Los Angeles Rams on Dec. 29 and the New Orleans Saints on either Jan. 3 or 4. The next two are on the road, but the final two are at home.
